This past week we learned some terrible news that one of Chris' second Moms passed away. Gayle Glines, first mom on the right, was Ben's mom. All throughout high school, Chris was friends with the same group of guys....Bobby, Brian, Nick, Ben, Brad, Ryan and Robert. Since the boys were friends for so long, they really were all adopted by the other moms. Chris was blessed with having all of the moms in the picture, plus a few more, as second moms. Gayle and Chris were especially close. Chris used to spend the night at Walt and Gayle's house nearly every weekend when the boys were growing up. Gayle always had a smile on her face and had the best laugh. She even got Chris one of his first jobs helping out at the Parks and Recreation department of Gilroy. Gayle was the glue that held all the boys together...she always kept in touch with all of them even as they grew up, went to college and started their own lives. Gayle was one of Chris' biggest baseball fans and was always cheering him and sending him encouraging messages throughout the season. She will be dearly missed and will be forever remembered.
