Our little WA home! :)

Well we are all settled in our new apartment!  We got a little one bedroom, one bath place about 15 minutes away from the field.  We would have loved to live in the city, but there are two big reasons why we couldn't manage to live there.  Our Ford truck and Max.  Our truck is a normal sized F-150, but it definitely isn't the best for city living.  The parking situation would have been awful!  Our apartment has a great underground parking garage that fits our truck great...we were a little worried about how we would fit into the parking spots, but they have some bigger spots for trucks!  Thank goodness!  The other reason we couldn't live in the city is our madman, Max.  He definitely needs a place to run around and go for walks.  Our apartment complex has a huge football field-sized grass area for him to run and lots of walking trails around Lake Washington.  So it's really a perfect little spot for what we needed!  :)

We decided to rent furniture this year instead of getting a fully furnished place.  It would have cost us $1800 more a month... and I knew that we could do better then that!  So with a lot of help from my mom, we were able to get all of our dishes, pots and pans, linens, towels...everything we could need!  Then we rented furniture...which actually looks really nice!  Our little place already feels like home!

Max wanted to be in the kitchen picture :)
Our king size bed just fits!

I grabbed some pictures off the website of our apartment complex to show you a little bit more of the area!  We are right on Lake Washington, which is absolutely beautiful!  They have these great private decks right on the water...so when it warms up a little we can go sit out there and relax!  We even have a view of downtown Seattle when the weather is nice.  :)
